Twisted Spoke Saloon at 251 Derby Street, Pekin, Illinois.

I stopped in the Twisted Spoke on Sunday, May 6, 2018 to meet my sister and her boyfriend for a drink. I was on my motorcycle (course I was drinking water) but I had a deposit I needed to make at my bank, I forgot, so I took the envelope out of my bike and my phone both inside with me. I had $425 in an envelope all marked up to deposit into my account when I left. My sister and her bf show up, they go out to the smoking shelter. I did not. The second time they went out I followed to read the writing on the walls, etc. Anyway, the bar was empty except us and the bartender. We went back inside and sat down. At the same time the relief bartender showed up as well as 2 ladies walking in to chill while they did laundry next door they said to our bartender COURTNEY. The 3 of them walked out to the smoking shelter together (thank god). As I sat down I realized I left my envelope and iPhone out in the smoking shelter. I didn't even have enough time to panic before Courtney laid my envelope and iPhone on the bar next to me. What an HONEST bartender. Those other 2 ladies do not work at Twisted Spoke and could have potentially found my items and kept them. I was shocked at the honesty and care that Courtney took to return my items. I immediately tipped her AND walked over to the owner who had just gotten there to let him know what an amazing employee she is.
